Currently living in abstemious retirement in West Haven CT.

After Jenks, I attended Penn Charter, then Amherst College and finally Penn Law school. I served in the Marine Corps from 1950-52( no Korea, thankfully).

I am the father of six, grandfather of 7. I worked in Sales and advertising all my life (Lees Carpets, Playtex, Uniroyal Tires, radio sales, Bache & Co, 3 advertising agencies (NYC) and finally outdoor advertising which sent my 6 kids to college, who grew up in Westport CT. Teachers I remember:

• Kindergarten: Miss Bennet
• First Grade: Miss Bernheimer
• Second grade: Miss Smith
• Third grade: Mrs. Cressman
• Fourth grade: Miss Rometsch
• Fifth grade: Mrs. McDermott
• Sixth grade; Mrs. Neuman
• Principals : Miss Scott, Carryl Coburn.

I guess that's pretty good for a seventy-three year old! This website is a wonderful idea. I have been back to the school and have taken some of the same photos you have.
