Psalm 90:2
"Before the mountains were brought forth,
or ever thou hadst formed the earth and
the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God."
|
Only words of praise can begin to approach the
truth of the wondrous GOD who created the Universe.
He is "from everlasting to everlasting" [Ps 90:2]
as he had no beginning and shall have no end. "All
power in heaven and in earth" is of Him, [Mt 28:18].
He does not have power, He *is power.
By the authority of His word, He spoke and
brought the Sun that heats our solar system into
being. It has been burning for close to
six-thousand years, at least, and has not been
exhausted. It is a continual nuclear fusion reac-
tion of unfathomable proportions. Above this,
He created the entire universe which mankind only
can discuss in terms of light-years.
On earth, when a people He loved were trapped in
an apparently hopeless military situation, with
their backs against the sea and no route for
retreat, GOD's answer was to open the sea in
two parts, and cause them to walk upon dry land,
[Isa 43:16]. He is
able.
A shepherd boy named David probably weighing less
than 150 lbs., who knew the power of the GOD whom He
served went out to fight a man approximately
nine-feet tall, whose armor weight alone
was measured in hundreds of pounds. GOD honored such
faith and was with David in battle, who had
the victory.
Almighty GOD created all that you see, and is all
powerful as stated. However, the most awesome
attribute of His Spirit is Love. GOD is love
[1 JN 4:8]. And if you clicked one the loved "one!"
hypertext in the first paragraph of the main page,
you saw the most beautiful testimony of His love, in
His own words. GOD is Spirit, whose fruits reflect
all goodness, and kindness [Gal 5:22].
And out of such love for His creation, Man, He
shed mercy. Just as His nature, so is His mercy.
There is an entire psalm [Ps 118] dedicated to His
great mercy that 'endureth forever.' He is faithful
to us who believe in Him, even when
we are not faithful to Him.
Only in Him can a man or a woman find true
fulfillment and joy. One day, His glory will again
fill the earth as the waters do the sea. It shall
be revealed and all flesh shall see it together
[Isa 40:5-6]. This is the day that we all need to
prepare for, and the rest of John 3:16 tells us how.

the sea, and a path in the mighty waters;
Isa 43:17 Which bringeth forth the chariot and
horse, the army and the power; they shall lie down

1Jn 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God
is love.
:9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us,
because that God sent his only begotten Son into
the world, that we might live through him.
:10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that
he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation
for our sins.

Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy,
peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no
law.
