Psalm 90:2 "Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God."
Only words of praise can begin to approach the
glory of the wondrous GOD who created the Universe.
He is "from everlasting to everlasting" [Ps 90:2]
as he had no beginning and shall have no end. "All
power in heaven and in earth" belongs to Him, [Mt 28:18].
In the sacred scrolls called the "Tenakh" or "Old Covenant"
His name was spelled, "YHVH".
By the authority of His word alone, He spoke and
brought the Sun that heats our solar system into existence.
It has been burning for at least six-thousand years, and
has not been exhausted. It is a continuous nuclear fusion reaction
of unfathomable proportions. Above this, He created the entire
universe which mankind can only being to discuss its size in terms of light-years.
On earth, when a people He loved were trapped in an apparently hopeless
military situation, with their backs against the Red Sea and no route for
retreat, GOD's answer was to open the sea into two parts, and cause
the children of Israel to walk safely upon dry land [Isa 43:16].
A shepherd boy named David probably weighing less
than 150 lbs., who knew the power of the GOD whom He
served went out to fight a man approximately
nine-feet tall, whose armor weight alone
was measured in hundreds of pounds. GOD honored such
faith and was with David in battle, who had
the victory over Goliath.
Almighty GOD created all that you see, however, the most awesome
attribute of His Spirit is Love. GOD is love [1 JN 4:8], and He loves you
with an everlasting love [Jeremiah 31:3]. GOD is Spirit [John 4:24], whose
fruits reflect all goodness, and kindness [Gal 5:22], and holiness.
All these things speak of His power, His love. In coming to salvation it
is His holiness that we must consider, for we in our sins may not dwell in the presence
of Almighty God. Understand His holiness from the truth of this passage of Scripture
from Hebrews chapter one, spoken by the Apostles of our Lord, who walked with Him;
Imagine... none... no darkness at *all, within His Spirit. Through His Apostles,
and Prophets, God has spoken these words;
As long as we remain covered with these sins we were born in [Psalms 51:5],
we cannot dwell in the presence of this righteous and holy God we have learned
of. If not remedied, this means eternal separation from His peace, and the full
punishment of His wrath. There is a way to be reedeemed. Confess that you
are a sinner and learn how.
