#2 The Depravity of Man

Only those who are sinners, need a Saviour. The Lord Jesus said,
Mark 2:17
When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Therefore, friend, you must realize and confess that you too are a sinner in need of this forgiveness that is found only in Christ Jesus, the Lord. Remember this- "confession" does not mean to inform GOD of a wrongdoing of yours. GOD created you, the earth, the heavens, the universe and nothing is hidden from His eyes.
Matthew 10:26
Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.
    To confess that you are a sinner, means to say the same thing about sin in your life that GOD says about it. GOD said this about sin in our lives;
Romans 3:10-18
10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
13 Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips:
14 Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:
15 Their feet are swift to shed blood:
16 Destruction and misery are in their ways:
17 And the way of peace have they not known:
18 There is no fear of God before their eyes.
GOD gave you a conscience, and with it we realize the truth of His word in this matter of the state of sin in which we initially find ourselves existing. Then we turn to Him with a broken and contrite (collapsed) spirit, acknowledging to ourselves and to GOD the sin in our lives. But, we do not remain in a spirit of guilt or condemnation but realize that this sin in our lives is the exact reason that Christ came into the world, to make an atonement for us... to reconcile us to the heavenly Father.
John 3:17
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Once you understand the need for the Saviour, the right thing to do is to seek Him out and call upon His name asking forgiveness. If you see the need to be forgiven for your sins, continue on to find out God's plan for your salvation.

I see the need to be saved
