The Armour of GOD;
Part 6. The Sword of The Spirit

"And take the helmet of salvation,
and the sword of the Spirit,
which is the word of God:" Ephesians 6:17
Needless to say, what function has a
soldier without his weapon? What are the
implications of of going into battle without
his sword. Does that not dimenish to *nothing
his meaningful effect in the battle? Will
His enemies not slay him? What is the sword
of the Spirit? It is the direct word of GOD.
"For the *word* of God is quick, and
powerful, and sharper than any
twoedged sword, piercing even to the
dividing asunder of soul and spirit,
and of the joints and marrow, and is
a discerner of the thoughts and
intents of the heart."
Hebrews 4:12
The wickedness of satanic power is great.
GOD is of course greater, and this is your
weapon. This sword combined with the shield of
faith will make you more that a conqueror. A
conqueror over the most vial of demonic
spirits, this is the weapon with which to
fight these powers.
The strongest delivery of the gospel of Christ
is a direct quote from the scriptures.
The strongest rebuke to a demonic possessed or
controlled individual is the direct word of
GOD. It is a bright and shining light in the
darkness, and a light that bright, when held
up will either attract a person to it or to
repelled them away.
Some people you can converse with. With others
who wrestle against the truth of GOD with
either blatent disrespect or vile subtility,
it is necessary to deliver to them the words
of life that have been absorbed into your
spirit and conciousness.
So be prepared to offer to all the *power* of
the straight and uncut words inspired by the
Holy Spirit of GOD as recorded in the Bible.
Remember that the Apostle Paul said that he
was not ashamed of the gospel of Christ because;
"For therein is the righteousness
of God revealed from faith to
faith: as it is written, The just
shall live by faith." Romans 1:17
People can see the righteousness of the
Father, when His word is delivered. It guards
against chatter. It speaks with authourity.
And note that Hebrews 4:12 indicates that the
words inspired by the holy Spirit are a
DOUBLE-EDGED sword. That means that it can
perform the most delicate operation on a
believing soul listening and being drawn by the
Holy Ghost, while with the other edge it can set
demons to flight!
Study, to show your self approved, an be a good
minister of the gospel, which will reveal the
righteousness of GOD to whomever ears it falls.
