10. The Accomplishments of Messiah Yeshua
    10a.    Having now seen the timing of the Seventy Weeks Prophecy point directly to Yeshua (Jesus) of Nazareth from the point of the 458BC decree of King Artaxerxes to Ezra the Priest, it is time to carefully look at those accomplishments attributed to "Messiah the Prince", given in Daniel 9:24. In addition to the precise timing of the "weeks", His accomplishments relating to salvation identify who that Messiah is.

    10b. Gabriel Lists the Accomplishments in Daniel 9:24
    During the vision that Gabriel gave to Daniel, the Angel Gabriel listed the specific accomplishments that would be made during the seventy "week" period. They are;

Daniel 9:24
24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
The Accomplishments of Messiah
1. "...to finish the transgression"
2. "...to make an end of sins"
3. "...to make reconciliation for iniquity"
4. "...to bring in everlasting righteousness"
5. "...to seal up the vision and prophecy"
6. "...to anoint the most Holy"

    10c. The Accomplishments Are Limited To Be Fulfilled Within the 70 Weeks
    The word translated "determined" in the above verse, Daniel 9:24 is the Hebrew word "chathak" which means to "cut off" or limit. From Strong's Greek/Hebrew dictionary we find its definition to be;
    H2852 chathak
    khaw-thak'
    A primitive root; properly to cut off, that is,
    (figuratively) to decree: - determine.

    10d. Simply stated, the time limit (or "determination") for these accomplishments is fixed to be within the seventy weeks time slot spoken by the Gabriel. Faith in God's word requires the believer to trust that the Person whom they believe to be the Messiah, must fulfill the prophecy within this 490 year period. Starting from our origin date of 458BC, all listed accomplishments from Daniel 9:24 would have to be completed by 33AD for God's word to be true. God's word is true and is the standard for truth. The question comes before us then, how did Jesus of Nazareth accomplish these victories in salvation for us all? Let's together search out the victories in Jesus that we have, and see.
